On completion of the course; people will: 

 

Course content:

  • Understand the recruitment cycle.
  • Be able to identify equality and diversity legal requirements in the recruitment and selection process.
  • Be able to prepare job descriptions, person specifications and job adverts.
  • Understand the assessment process; including the preparation of interview questions and to develop answers to those questions.
  • Understand how to shortlist fairly and consistently.
  • Be able to conduct a full and fair interview.
  • Have an awareness of other interview techniques.
  • Understand how to score candidates and matrix the assessment process.
  • Providing feedback from the interview and assessment process.
  • Complete the follow up processes.
