On completion of the course; people will: 

 

Course content:

  • Be able to follow a plan from strategy to implementation.
  • Understand the employer’s obligations including legislation and employee rights.
  • Have knowledge of key principles and when to consult including notification of redundancy.
  • Have knowledge of selection criteria and understanding the ‘pool’ of potential employees.
  • Understand dismissal and redundancy pay.
  • Be able to manage the aftermath including restructuring and rebuilding.
