On completion of the course; people will: 

 

Course content:

  • Understand what is stress 
  • Be able to identify causes of stress both inside and outside the workplace 
  • Recognise the signs and symptoms of stress in themselves and in others 
  • Be able to access a range of resources 
  • Be able to apply a range of techniques to deal with and to combat stress 
  • Prepare and follow a personal action plan to manage personal stress 
  • Have an awareness of the Health and Safety Executive’s Stress Management Standards
